Mate its all illegal unless the artist has given you permission or its afree download from the artist/record company. I have used limewire in the past, everything usually turns out to be either a virus or porn. There are so many cheap and legal mp3 download sites out there so dig deep and keep supporting them artists. But if not try emule and you can view comments on the files before downloading. I just look at myspace and the like now, more music than you can shake a stick at. Peace, green and ween

the other people answearing your questions are rong limewire is not illegal as it is classed as a program called shareware so anyone can use it with out worry

They're all pirated, BUT... the record companies are only prosecuting people UPLOADING songs. Set your settings to NOT SHARE your music. After all, we all record stuff off the radio for our personal use, so no problemo!

i think you will find they all are unless you have permission to download from the artist or companys that own the copyright
