• Check e-Bay.
OR
• Find heavily discounted (T.J. Maxx, Ross, Marshall's, or at a good department store's super white sale -- best bargains are usually in late January) flat sheets; cut and sew into a couple of sets of your own bedding. To me, a striped dust ruffle (light pink and white? any pretty colors will work) with a shorter, white eyelet dust ruffle over it (buy 6" or 8" wide, pre-gathered, eyelet, sew around perimeter of a piece of sheet the same size as the mattress -- place over dust ruffle and under mattress) and a solid pink crib sheet is classic. Add a couple of bed pillows to keep in the crib (only when baby is not in it) that are trimmed with the stripes, the solid, and eyelet... so cute. When baby is out of her crib, WITH YOU, on the floor for playtime, put her on a pink blanket and use the big pillows that decorate the crib as "borders" when she starts to "scooch" a few inches at a time.

Use scraps from project for single or double rod valances or to reupholster seats on small, kid size chairs or stools -- that go with small wooden table you will find, sand, and paint? And/or, trim lamp shades with scraps... ruffled or tied in bows and glued onto shade.

If you have an old bedpad that has edges which are not worn, piece the good parts together (in the largest pieces available) until you have the right size the sew elastic strips, about 6" long, diagonally across each corner. Strips go around corners of mattress, crib sheet will hide it.

Well, beyond ebay, what I would suggest is looking at target, kohls and babies R us. Target is cheap all around and has some really trendy patterns. Kohls and babies r us have clearance stuff all the time, and you could just create your own decor.

Also look into sewing. It's really easy to make a crib blanket, and buy coordinating stuff from the store....buy the inexpensive solid color sheets, bumpers and dust ruffles at walmart and hand paint. Fabric paint is not dangerous, sets well and is fun and easy to use. You can iron on patterns from the hobby store.

Also try freecycle or craigslist. There is a ton on there, stuff you wouldn't believe.

Target has some REALLY CUTE stuff available on their web site, much of it is created by designer Amy Coe. It's not those "cutesy cartoons" either, it's really beautiful.

It's priced fairly in expensively, but you can always check ebay for a better deal if you find a pattern you like. That's actually what I did... I found the crib set I loved at Target, bought as much of it off ebay as I could (brand new and way cheaper), and ordered the rest directly from Target. Big savings that way! Good luck...

You know what i did,i went for a beige color for the sheets, the crib skirt and the crib bumper. And then i bought really cute blankets in different designs and colors and the great thing about it was that it all went with the beige and i could always change up the look :D lol

google, ebay, some cute stuff out their. my friend bought some from england to have a different look. With that kind of money you could have it made where you get to pick out the fabric and they sew it all up. Also, check specialty store like saks for their bedding which may be a little different too.

Check ebay. I am having a girl, but I am not a big fan of pink. Most of the bedding I saw in the stores were either too boyish or pink. I can't remember the exact name of the seller that I bought from, but most of them on there offer new bwdding. You just have to look.

There's some nice stuff on this site. Here's one. I personally have sears crib stuff and it's highly superior quality to anything else I have.
