I have a 1979 Suzuki 185. I took it riding for a day, rode it for about six hours, and then she bogged out and died. It wouldn't kickstart or bumpstart. The next day, after a 2 or 3 kicks she started right up. I cleaned the carbuerator before I went riding. Any suggestions on why she died out and how I could fix it?

Possibly a bad coil.
Bad coils - when they heat up, they stop working. Then magically start working again when they cool down.
Have a good spark plug handy when you're riding. When the bike stops working, immediately check for spark.
Install the good spark plug in the spark plug cap.
Lay the threads of the plug against the engine.
Try to start the bike.
No spark = electrical problems.
