When the people come out of Voldy's wand shouldnt it be Lily first then James, if it's the mose recent first?
In my book James comes first, then tells Harry "Your mother's coming . . . she wants to see you . . . it will be alright. . . hold on."
Did they make a mistake? Cause I remember reading the copy from the library and Lily came first . . .

yes, lily is supposed to come first.
It's a mistake that was corrected. JK Rowling explains in her FAQ (on her website) that while she had it as Lily first in the manuscript, her American Editor thought that was a mistake and "corrected" it and because they were so pressured to get the editing done and the book published JKR didn't really catch it until the book came out.
I just double-checked my (american) copy and sure enough p. 667 has Lily coming out first and saying "your father's coming..."

Yes, it was a mistake in the earlier editions and it was corrected in the later ones...mines a 1st edition so the mistakes in it and it was spotted pretty much just after it came out. I'm not sure whether I was dreaming or not, but I think I read that JK had it right and then it was checked for mistakes and somebody thought that Lily should come second, so it was changed.

Well, I just reread GOF and Lily came first but i think they reprinted it when they found the mistake so maybe that copy is from the first print.

You're correct, if the spell was supposed to make the recent spells performed shoot out first, then it should be Cedric, Lily, James, and so on...

Yeah, but the editors noticed this and issued a reprint. You're probably reading an older copy.

Yes it should be. It was a editing mistake in the early printings and was corrected in later printings.

well i just re-read that book a couple days ago & in MY version lily came first...but there is differant versions so yeah.

i dont kno and i dont rember but i do kno there are different versions of the books, there are small sutble differences, i kno that there is a American version and Aenglish version(Brition) sorry spelling.... i hope that helps

d movie doesn't follow d book 100%. it's based on d book. tht's wht posters say or d credits in d shows. all d hpotter films say tht. so it may be diff. fr book of cuzz.
