Who fought? United States, England, Canada, Russia and other allies vs. the Axis Powers Germany, Italy, and Japan. Who won? The allied armies of U.S. Great Britian et. al. Major turning point was D-day. Read up on this invasion. Another turning point was Germany's failed invasion of Russia.

Frankly, my dear, the world does not conform to your desire for simplicity.
Put some effort into an (approximate) understanding the whole complex world, or retreat into a few clichés which are essentially fantasy.
There are many major factors which influenced the origins of WW2, and none of *those* arose in a vacuum.
Why did America not join the League of Nations?
Why did Russia's cooperation with Germany, including Nazi Germany, arise and aid German re-armament?
At least six countries fought on opposite sides over the course of the war, not counting late war abandonment of Germany by its Balkan allies.
No, simple it wasn't.

Ok, WWii ok the italians, german/nazis, japaneese, Axis Powers(bad guys)......(Good Guys) are Allied Powers, America, Britons/GreatBriton, France, but they didnt do much, lol Russians....Major event: Pearl Harbor, Japanese sneek attack on Americas Navy base Pearl Harbor, the end of the war, when America dropped two hydrogen bombs not nuclear, on the two japanese citys, Nagasaki, and Hiroshima, japanese surrender, Another major event: Allies begin offensive front largest mass attack in world history, D-Day, beaches of Normandy France

Germany captured the Europa. When they attack to Russians they begin to lose the war.
At that time Japan's attack to US.
And also in Africa's deserts UK fight with Germany and İtaly.
At the end Germany, İtaly and Japan's lost the war in 1945.
Only Russians lost 20 million people in WW2
