I would think so. I know alot of it is real and most of the medical stuff talked in CSI, and Law and Order is too.
I LOVE HOUSE! I LOVE CSI (the orginal) I LOVE LAW AND ORDER (SVU)

I'd say that it probably is. I would believe that they probably do a lot of research before they bring up any of the diseases. I do know that they did bring up one disease that was a rare one, and I was very interested in it and did decide to do a bit of research on it and found that they had it dead on, all the symptoms all the weird side effects. House was dead on with how he figured it out, even if he was pretty nasty in everything he said and did to tell the girl about her disease. But, as I said it was completely right on. So, I have to believe that they have a medical team on staff that looks into all the diseases that they are going to use, and yes they are accurate.

Working in a hospital, I actually think most of it is pretty accurate, medically anyways. Nothing ever sticks out to me as being wrong or impossible (for the most part). I love that show so much!!

I think so, look at all the medical companies during the credits. Of course there is no Princeton/Plainsboro hospital. It's just Princeton hospital.

No. I doubt you will find doctors out there dosing each other with narcotics and anti-depressants to prove a point.

well, they dig through textbooks to find interesting diseases, but like all TV shows, they have to abreviate so it makes sense to people and is still entertaining.
