So far I have very little. I got things like Doors, Burban and beer song. Sweet home alabamba, kid rock. I need some really detailed song ideas. Thanks for your help, this is so important to me. I am limited to a large knowledge of Alternative and pop music and missed the gap of time when i got married at a young age.

Well, Boston is always a good choice, especially More than a Feeling and Long Time. Kansas is also another solid band. REO Speedwagon and Journey had multiple hits. For new rock, Metallica, Crossfade, and Breaking Benjamin are great metal bands.

As far as classic stuff goes, you NEED some Led Zeppelin and AC/DC as well as Bachman Turner Overdrive and The Who. For newer stuff get some Bruce Springsteen, Lostprophets, and Toto. All good stuff. If you rock it a little harder, get some Rise Against. If you need any more stuff, especially from the 80s feel free to contact me.
