THIS WILL SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM ... theres a "reset" button on your Linksys router. Just hold that button in for 30 seconds (be sure to count to 30) using a pen. That solves the problem 90% of the time, you may need to restart your computers. But if it doesnt, heres what you can do to the computer that isnt receiving internet ...
1) type in the address bar "192.168.1.1". You will receive a pop up asking for a username and password. Leave the username blank and type in the password "admin". You will go to the linksys website.*****
2) From the Linksys website, go to "Setup" tab and then "MAC Address Clone" tab. Click on "Enable". Click on "Clone". Then click on "Save Settings".
3) To verify that settings were saved, click on 'Status" tab and if there is an Internet IP address then you are connected.
**** I had typed Linkysy IP address in the address bar but it did not direct me to their site so this option may not be working. But reset the router and it will work, trust me =)

If a hub is used (very uncommon) the 6 Mb/s may be divided amonst the desktops via fact each and each computer will get carry of a duplicate of the information regardless if that's the meant aim. In a switched atmosphere that's the time-honored on routers in the present day, each and each port gets a committed bandwidth. This physique of ideas in basic terms sends information to the meant aim aim extremely than broadcasted to all 3. that's the theory at the back of it, yet in view which you would be able to desire to preserve community latency (delay) and different variables as information travels the internet returned on your desktops, it might possibly in no way seem that way

Is the one computer that works on the Linksys the one that you installed the software on? Also did you run the network set up wizard on both computers? Which of router is it? -GeekSquad Agent Jef- And what that first guy says doesn't make and sence. Why would he be able to get both computers online seperatly if they are going based on MAC addresses?

Its becuase you internet provider is only providing one computer to be contacted at a time.. The only way to put both computers on the internet is to clone the mac address to your pc that aint connecting...
Search "pc mac address cloning" on yahoo

If you have a modem with a router, i.e., multiple outlets, you should be able to connect both computers to the 'net at the same time. I have a combination unit, and it works for me. Go to a computer shop and ask a techie.
