ballads are cool and normal for the 80s, I am looking for the best song that made/makes you wanna rock and cry at the same time....over a lost love....so lets vote, rock, and if you are an emotional person, cry all at the same time.

each and all of the 80's power ballads are super sappy love songs in my view. extreme sufficient - damn Yankees continuously - Kiss extra advantageous than words - severe Love of an entire life - Firehouse living house candy living house - Motley Crue Angel Eyes - Stealheart is this love - Whitesnake do not understand what you have have been given ('until that is long gone) - Cinderella i'm going to be 2 steps at the back of - Def Leppard each and every rose has that is thorn - Poison merely between you and me - undesirable English Brian X: Love track is yet another super occasion yet I attempt to not over emphasize my widespread band. i could hate to be a Tesla version of an MCR fan... eeek lol. yet now that Tesla became mentioned, i'm going to assert the way it quite is - Tesla :)

One of my favorite love songs from the 80s is Missing You by John Waite. Another is I'll be there for you, by bon Jovi and SinceI don't have you and Don't Cry by Guns and Roses...although those two are from the early 90s.

OMG - for sure Cheap Trick "The Flame"!

Another night slowly closes in and I feel so lonely
Touching heat freezing on my skin I pretend you still hold me
I'm going crazy, I'm losing sleep
I'm in too far, I'm in way too deep over you
I can't believe you're gone
You were the first, you'll be the last

CHORUS:
Wherever you go I'll be with you
Whatever you want I'll give it to you
Whenever you need someone to lay your heart and head upon
Remember after the fire after all the rain
I will be the flame
I will be the flame

Watching shadows move across the wall feels so fright'ning
I wanna run to you, I wanna call, but I've been hit by lightning
Just can't stand up for falling apart
Can't see through this veil across my heart over you
You'll always be the one
You were the first, you'll be the last

CHORUS

I'm going crazy, I'm losing sleep
I'm in too far, I'm in way too deep over you
You'll always be the one
You were the first, you'll be the last

CHORUS

Wizard took mine- Babe by Styx- A lot of the other responses are songs from the 90 like Poison "Every Rose has its thorn" - 1990

Flashbacks to high school dances:

Peter Gabriel "In Your Eyes"
Skid Row "I Remember You"
Bon Jovi "I'll Be There For You"

Spandau ballet's True is pretty sappy, but I would have to go with Chris De Burgh's Lady In Red, so so cheesy, but its pretty good. If you don't get too sick of the song, it can make you very emotional, also the Cure's Lovesong
