Head for the nearest computer supply store and get a can of canned air. I have a set of covers for my hardware and keep them covered when not in use. I cover the keyboard every time I walk away. Helps a lot.

I shake it upside down. Then i take a shop vac (lots of suction) and use the thisseled brush attachment and slowly drag it over the keyboard. I then shake the keyboard and do it again. If you used the canned air remember you are pushing some particles farther into your keyboard which is not good. For gooky keyboards i have a back up keyboard ( a 6.00 cheapy) I unplug the keyboard i am going to clean, use rubbing alcohol (dampened on a lint free cloth) and clean the keys and in between. I then let it "drip dry" for a day and sometimes use the hairdryer on a cool setting to speed things along. Good luck.

You can also try a can of compressed air. It'll blow out any bits of stuff that are trapped under the keys, and it's a bit more effective than a vacuum.

if you used it more often you probably wouldn't have to dust it off........a moist paper towel maby a little windex will work. A baby wipe something like that.

best way is by vaccum cleaner and then wet cloth and more sure the cleaning solution do not go in to the keyboard.
