In commercials, movies, television, etc.

Good example: That cute girl wrapped in duct tape and celery in that Embarq commercial.

What if your kid could do that?

Any age. Just get some good photos, not those glamour ones but real ones with different moods, expressions, etc. don't clutter the background. they are looking for the right face and body type, not the clothes. Then try submitting them to magazine contests, selling them to baby magazines, and looking for an agent. Don't, I repeat, Don't, pay anyone to get your child jobs. An agent only gets paid when they get your child work. But try selling some photos first and see if you can get some interest in your child. Good luck.

There are one day old actors out there. Any age is acceptable as long as they follow the under age rules
set out by the Screen Actors Guild...which are stringent
and comply with hourly restrictions and educational
requirements. I think the Olsen twins were acting at
one year old.

haha I think the child must be trained in profesional schools since young. I have a friend who trained at age three. Hence he is very talented in his musical instrument. Such things pick up fast.

The child must have potential and interest too.

Hence, I feel age three is youngest and maybe results of maturity will show in age five.

Actually, babies must be at least 15 days old before they can legally work and all children regardless of age must have an entertainment work permit issued by the state, at least they do in California.
