I am doing research for a documentary and I haven't been able to find this information anywhere on the net. This a preliminary search so I just need to know if they do or don't and how

Yes, they do mourn when other dolphins pass away. I worked at a facility where 2 dolphins died out of the 9 in the collection, within 6 months of each other. Both times, the rest of the pod woud be depressed, usually not eat well, and just not want to do any behaviors. They would swim around vocalizing, waiting for a response whistle from the missing animal. Gradually the animals would appear to have "moved on" and returned to their normal activity. In those cases, the "buddy" dolphin (the one that the dead dolphin hung around with the most) would seem to be the most affected.

yes they do
they feel very sad for a while
dolphins are very inteligent their brain is bigger that ours
i knew somebody who worked with dolphins and she said they could be very emotional
they are also telephatic
and always knew what trick she was thinking of and would get into position before she gave the commands
they also could be in bad moods or exceptionally happy.
