I have a sleep number bed so I can adjust it to what I want. Now I have it on the softer side.

Soft but firm. My mattress is far too soft when I put it on boxsprings, but it is perfdectly firm now that I replaced the boxsprings with 3/4 inch plywood. Makes the bed a bit lower, but it sure is a good night sleep.

I prefer the hard mattresses when it comes to the pillows it must be as soft as can be.
