Quebec has the same kind of separatist mentality that, say, Texas does. Although it technically is part of Canada, many of the French-Canadienne people of Quebec feel as though they should be their own nation. They tried to legally separate from Canada pretty recently, I believe. Within the last decade. Hence, Y!A is just being regionally conscious. Props to you, Yahoo.
