My brother in his 30's, has been using a police scanner for about a year, right before Spiderman 3, he bought
a new, advanced one .... coincidence or not?
I couldn't believe it when I saw Spidey 3 on opening night, and he was using a police scanner like my brother does.
Would you be amused by this?
Or is my bro a superhero?

I've known quite a few people with police scanners. I even used one to evade police when I had a warrant for my arrest.

I use a scanner too. I monitor police, fire and air traffic control. I'm a 9-1-1 supervisor and I like to keep up with what's going on.
A lot of people like to do this. Fire fans and crime buffs. No worries, its harmless as long as he doesn't start chasing down fires or crime scenes!
