The owner himself asked OJ to leave, he has a problem with OJ not paying the debt he owes to the Browns and the Goldmans. OJ did leave, called his lawyers, and they are now going to sue for racism and the mans liquor license. The next person to sit at the table that OJ was asked to leave, Michael Jordan. So was it a racist move on the owners part? Or was the owner honetly taking a stand against OJ's arrogance?

I had the name wrong, it was Jeff not Jack - sorry, my mistake.

The guy's name is JEFF Ruby, not Jack.

"I didn't want to serve him because of my convictions of what he's done to those families," Jeff Ruby said in a telephone interview Tuesday. "The way he continues to torture the lives of those families ... with his behavior, attitude and conduct."

Anyway, the story gets better. I watched a video clip of an interview... I guess a lady (blonde) from OJ's party came up to him afterward and said something like "He has the freedom to eat where he wants..." and Ruby said "You're blonde... be careful that he doesn't slit your throat next!"

I love it!

The steakhouse is private property. The owner can refuse service to ANYONE. Just like a department store can charge you with trespassing if you've been asked to leave and then choose to come back against their wishes. We're not talking a courthouse or freeway here folks... PRIVATE PROPERTY.

And it ain't about race. So shut up to the lawyer(s), OJ and anyone else with him for whining racism!

(Sorry if anyone thought I was randomly ranting... I get ticked at the lawyers in cases like this! See the second article if you're interested.)

Many restaurants, and other places of business, have signs stating that they reserve the right to reserve service to anybody. If the owner had that sign in his restaurant, OJ is not going to win. I don't think this was a racist issue at all--the owner probably just did not want to serve OJ--like most of the private golf courses don't want OJ playing there any more.

Like most of us, the owner is tired of seeing O.J playing up the hype he gets from the acquittal. The owner has every right to refuse service to anyone.. The lawyers, only leg to stand on is playing the racism card.. I personally think it is a publicity stunt, to keep O.J in the news, there is no doubt in my my mind, that the case will get thrown out.. O.J needs to make alot of money to pay his attorneys, and the death settlement, so you can be sure that he will try to sue anyone for anything, so his a** doesn't have to get out and work..

We all know OJ's washed up. It's got nothing to do with racism.

The owner said it didn't have anything to do with his color. Case closed. I think they should find out why Jack shot Oswald.

I would have done the same thing. He got away with murder and he refuses to pay the judgment against him; and then he tries to sell a book about how he did it? He's toxic waste.

The man is pond scum and it has nothing to do with the colour of his skin!

Doesn't matter if it was racism or something else, they had accepted his booking so were legally obliged to serve him - UNLESS he did something out of order while in there, which I understand is not the case.
