So i bought a new psu, it is stronger than my old one, yet the monitor doesnt turn on. I know the monitor works, and I am sure i have everything plugged in fine. I have tried plugging it into both the gfx card slot and the integrated gfx slot and both do not work. I have one thing that I am interested about though, the main connector of the psu, is each hole in it supposed to have a cable in it. The new psu has one missing and on the old one it is a white cable. It might be my processor but my computer is new [5 + months] so i doubt theres anything wrong with that.

What you really mean is black screen or no video signal but orange LED of monitor is on.

Here's my suggestion:
Try running your PC w/ bare minimum devices. Detach HDD, ODD, FDD connectors. Since you have integrated graphics, remove your graphics card as well and use the IG VGA port.
This set up should at least allow you to enter BIOS. If not, return your PSU. Something could be wrong with one of its power rails.
If PC and monitor turned on w/ minimum devices, shutdown and install devices one at time to determine w/c one causes the black screen or no signal situation.

does you pc turn on? the monitor has nothing to do with your psu. unless you have one of those psu that has a extra plug for the monitor on the back so? anyway, if the pc actually turns on (boots up ) then your psu is ok but if it doesn't turn on then check the psu to motherboard cable? What else did you change? goodluck!

I had to buy a new PSU and a New Video Card .. Both somehow blew out at the same time.
I had a green light on my motherboard to show that it was getting power. Do you have one? and is it on?

plug the old one back in. If it turns on, then return the new PSU. It's not uncommon for new equipment to be bad. It happens....
