Yes, I think a lot of us have that awful feeling. It's hard not to when there are reports that Al Queda has been caught trying to cross the Mexican border (how many weren't caught?) and see reports on how poorly monitored our ports are. I wonder how long it will be until we hear the full details, if we even do, about the six that were caught planning to hit Fort Dix and if they had any real ties to Al Queda.
I don't walk around every day in fear, I just won't let those murdering bastards do that to me. But I do fear we are in for trouble in the near future. I don't give George Tenet a lot of credit - he's blowing his whistle too little too late and he's got a lot to answer for himself. But the man did and does have a lot of information about our terrorist problem and some of what he said about the possibility of future attacks on American soil, in an interview I watched with Chris Matthews, gave me the chills. What can we do but keep our eyes and ears open in our cities and in our neighborhoods. We depend on our government to protect us, and I know it's a huge job. But I think we've fallen down in several areas, the most important being our borders. I do hope and I pray often that it won't lead to another disaster for us.

Trust that agencies will cooperate and coordinate together with help and information from people with a conscience. If something or someones seems out of the norm, don't be afraid to pass on your concerns. Do not fear an attack, having an "awful feeling" sends out negative energy.

It is coming, it is definitely possible. Of course they'll blame it on Bush like always. As soon as the troops pull out of Iraq, the attacks will come. It's evident. Look at the incident at Fort Dix. Democrats always think peace is the answer and they will be the first ones to turn tail and run when the attacks do come, and once again it will be up to Republicans to continue to bail them out and clean up the messes and problems they have a long record for getting us into in the first place.

No, I don't think about it or fear it..
There are things in your life over which you have no control. Terrorist attacks are one of these.
Fear is crippling and obsessing on what "might" happen reduces the enjoyment of your life. There may or may not be another incident...there is nothing you can do to stop one or to prevent it.
In the grand scheme of things, our country has had very few terrorist attacks by foreigners.... Most of our criminal activities like that are perpetrated by our own "home grown" screwballs.
So, don't worry about it. Live your life, love your friends and family, go on with living and stop thinking and worrying about what "could"happen...

There's always that possibility. Amazingly enough, the news isn't always privy to plots foiled. Having been one to make a lot of history over the last 25 or so years, I can tell you that generally, the news media doesn't get the facts presented correctly most of the time.

I think they will wait and just hit the new "guy", and show that no matter who is in the white house, they can still do what they want. Maybe?
Oh, maybe bush will blow up another building, right conspiracy theorists? Paving the way for the republican nominee.

I have no idea. But I do not live in fear of such. I am more fearful of the division in this country, to be honest.
