If you only pray when you want some thing, I don't think it would be. But if you are a true believer, and unselfish prayer is part of your every day life. Yes I think it is a form of worship.

Definitely! I believe that prayer IS worship. You are spending time with God and that is worship. I have a little acronym I learned years ago..."ACTS"
A-adoration
C-confession
T-thanksgiving
S-supplication
Short, sweet and to-the-point. It covers all the bases in case I forget anything. If you think about it for a minute that is basically what most worship services are based on.
Bless you and Peace come unto you.

Prayer is a form of worship because you cannot pray without worshiping and you cannot worship without finding yourself praying.

prayer is definitely worship. Worship is praising God and prayer is just alternative way of glorifying God through spirit. i still prefer worship though...

It can be. I'm sure God hear's a lot of "I really want this, please help me." and "I swear God I'll never ask for anything ever again if you just do this one thing for me"
But how often do we approach prayer in an attitude of praise and thanks for God being an amazing God and for giving us life.
Other than before meals.
Prayer can be worshipful.

No. Prayer is talking. You can pray to God and criticize Him if you want, but this can hardly be called "worship".

prayer and worship go hand in hand. you speak to God out loud while praying and you give praise which is worshiping his blessings. Worship is praise.

I think so. If you respect God enough to talk to him about your problems and thank Him for the gifts he has given you then, yeah, that is worship.

at the sermon on the mount Jesus gave us a blue print for how to pray. he said "when you pray to the Father, pray like this" thats when he gave us the Lords prayer. Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. in english: father you are in heaven and your name is holy. till kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. in english: until you return to earth may your wishes be fulfilled just like it is in heaven. the end of the blue print. for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory for ever, amen. in english: the kingdom of heaven belongs to you, the power of the universe is yours, and all glory goes to you. amen. our prayers are to be layed out like that, the lords prayer its self isnt a prayer, but how to pray. the excerpts i gave show that we are to worship God before we ask for anything, and we are to end the prayer by worshiping God.

Not worship in the traditional sense, but belief.
