i think being a vegetarian is totally a personal choice n doesn really call for others opinions.. i respect most food habits...i'm a complete foodie n love tryin out every cuisine.. at the end of the day, the food shud be tasty whether veg or non-veg..

i think vegetarianism is good esp once u start ageing cos then u need to control ur protein n fat intake.. a lotta communities esp in India are vegetarians, they are pretty much ignorant of the yumminess of meat, others dont care much for it...
but i know for a fact that jus being vegetarian doesn make u healthier cos any meal should be complete in terms of nutrient content and MUST be satisfying to the taste buds! as long as we strike a balance among the diff food groups in our meals, we'll be healthy .....n we can always indulge once in a while ;)

Some are vegetarians because of religion, some because of loving kindness to animals and some because of health. Whatever the reason, I admire them for their determination. I am overweight and I tried and tried to go on a certain diet and I find it very difficult. ( Food is very tempting.) More so, if your diet is more limited to say vegetarian stuff. May they all be well and happy. Awwlllll dont say bad things about them, some of you, they leave more meat behind for you. hee hee

A real vegetarian I know had me plant her vegetables and
fruit trees in her new home at age 85, when she quit
driving. Today she still teaches piano and composes at 96.
Other members of a club where we met, passed away with
refrigerators full of the wrong food!

the media keeps asking if America is ready to elect a black, a woman, or a Mormon. I think a more important question would be "Is America ready to elect a vegetarian as President? And if so, what shall we serve at the inauguration?"

I say more power to them! I could be a vegetarian but I like the occasional steak. Yummy! I love vegetables also and salads. What about you?

Well, I am one....and I like me.

I'm not a psycho "Peta" vegetarian lunatic.

If people want to eat meat, it's their issue.

I am a vegetarian not out of any great love of cows or pigs... it's a health issue with me.

< peace >
