Absolutely Not.Not just because they are the first of anything,Voting for President should not be based on any single issue but rather the qualifications and intentions of the individual candidate. The fact that this is still an issue shows how little we have progressed as a society.I would vote for either once I have researched them and believe in their ideas.Voting without investigating who is putting up the money for a candidate or finding out what their beliefs are leads us into the quagmire that we are in now.We should vote based on who is not supported by big oil and insurance interest since our administrations allegiance to their contributions is bankrupting us and leaving many of us without quality health care Forget the days of "I'd vote for a yellow dog" if he was on your parties ticket and vote for the best person for the job,be they black, white or purple, democrat, republican or inedpendant, man, woman or a combination of both. Most importantly, vote your conscience and wallet, not what either the liberal or conservatiive media try to force down your throat

It does not make much since to vote for someone just
because they would be the first, it makes more sense
to vote for someone that is qualified, Obama does not
have the experience to be President and Hillary
wouldn't get my vote even if she was the only one running
I'd write in Mickey Mouse
I prefer to pick the best person that I think will the best job
regardless of political party and so far I haven't seen
anyone of the democrats that fit the bill this time around.
Guess I will have to go Republican again for the 12th
consecutive year.

I have done my research on all of the candidates and I'm going to vote for Obama because I feel he is intelligent, has a conscience, thinks everything through before he does it, will listen to the American people, and he will help to unite this country with bipartisan politics and ideas.
I've also read his book "The Audacity of Hope" and it is excellent, even if you don't plan on voting for him, his book is a great read.

It would not be the ONLY reason I would vote for the two candidates, but it certainly makes their races more exciting to watch! My vote will allign itself with the person who has the best ideas for the betterment of our country. Someone different who believes in endless possibilites. Someone like Obama.

Voting for Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama must not be made because they will make history. Vote for any of them based on their experience, intelligence and qualification.
VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know if they will likely win.

hilly and hubby made a laughing stock of this country for years. there is nothing they didn't get away with. they didn't go home when their time was up. if not for them, no one would have dared 9-11. they let the world know that they were more interested in sleeping around then making sure everyone knew the USA was a super-power. Now we have to start from the beginning. putting her in office would be the end of the United States of American,

No. Yes, I think it's important to acknowledge that other people besides white males have the ability to be president, but I also believe in the best candidate for the job.

No, because they are both highly intelligent. That counts more than a dumb white guy.
For example, would you vote for Obama if he marred up the English language the way Bush does.
Did you vote for Bush?

no, I would vote for the person leading the country out of war safely. Someone who is a great leader, articulate and I can trust with such a huge role . That is who I am voting for.

No, absolutely not. I support the candidate that I believe is the best for the job. I believe that is Hillary Clinton. But if Hillary wasn't running and Condoleeza Rice was? I would never vote for her, I don't think she has what it takes.
