Yea, exactly 1 wk before Christmas in the morning I got a phone call telling me that my Pap had died. That was the 1st death in the family I had to experience. Then 1wk later, on Christmas Day in the morning again the phone rings and my Dad told me my Aunt w/ m.s. had died. Wow! That was a hard time!

No, but I have had a few wake up calls that went that way. They normally involve me performing CPR on someone and calling for an ambulance.

yeah. december 26, 2006. when i got a phone call at work saying my girls ( 9 and 10) were burned in a house fire in their grandparents house. the house burned down, the grandfather died and my girls were in the hospital for over a month. truly tramatic!!
thankfully, my girls survived; though they sustained 3rd degree burns! it's slow recovery process! i am still traumatized and devastated!

Yeah I got a call from McDonalds saying they were getting rid of the McRib forever! I cried for weeks.

Yeah, the phone call from my best friend's mother as I was lying in bed sick as a dog ... she told me my best friend had passed away that morning.

yes when i got the phone calls that my grandpa died and then later on when my father in law died..they were both great men
