How do you install heated handlebars?

I'm looking to fit heated handlebars to my 1985 Yam Virago. Is this possible? and if so is there any particular brand I need to buy or size I need? I've tried my local Yam shop and it was useless. Please help!

These fit inside the stock handlebars.

Not heated handlebars.
Heated hand grips.

add heated grips, many kits are available, the Aerostich catalogue is a great place to start
