Shag carpet...it's soft...I've never liked hardwood floors except for the fact that they really do look nice when they're clean and polished. They're always cold to walk on in reality.....

It depends on if it's for the whole house, or just each room.
My house is carpeted all the way through except the kitchen and the bathrooms.

Actually, none of them....laminate flooring, sheet vinyl, or luxury vinyl tile.
