They make small sized traditional shaped bathtubs. Try a company that does outfitting for trailers, mobile homes, that sort of thing.

They also make a sitting tub. It's aimed at seniors who can't get up and down from a regular tub but it would also fit in that space

Give him a bath in the sink and leave the shower alone. Talk to your mom. No doubt in my mind they did the same with you.

Uncle J certainly has valid suggestions though most full size mobiles have usual/standard size bath tubs.

At 6 months I assume not only that your son won't be left alone, but that you might want to be comfortable in bathing him.

As clumsy or awkward as it may be, I might look into finding something that would evelate a bathing tub to a level comfortable for you, within the shower stall area,,,even something like a changing table.

Obviously you can improvise, and he won't strictly need the bathing tub for more than a few years, and if you plan to remain in the home, he should eventually get used to showers anyway,,,probably still with accomdations, and some monitoring.

Have you checked online or at stores such as "Babies R Us"?

Fill a plastic storage bin of your choice for that use! Available at Walmart etc. Temporary only, and, of course, never leave your baby alone!
