No. Cheating depends on many variables... cheating MAY happen again if the variables were the same, but not necessarily so. If this is confusing, sorry... basically, some people cheat because of opportunity and a lack of morals which inclines them to cheat again, but some 'cheat' for other reasons which may never repeat themselves again.
I don't condone cheating at all, but realise sometimes people make new choices before ending their current one which is a character flaw but not necessarily a repetitive flaw.

Yea I think so. Once a cheater always a cheater. Not unless the person really change over. Or else, they think it's fine to do so because they had did it before!

No I don't believe it!!!! It really depends on the person that cheated. Not to mention the circumstances that they cheated for. Trust is really hard to rebuild and the person that cheated needs to understand that and be there for the person that they cheated on. Also the cheater needs to be 100% open with ever they do and be willing to have the person that they cheated on look over their shoulder at all times. The cheater needs to give up all their privacy. If they are willing to do this then give them a chance. If they aren't then kick them to the curb. that means they are still cheating.

ONCE A CHEATER ALWAYS I MEAN ALWAYS A CHEATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was in a relationship for 5 yrs I recently found out he cheated on me and is having a baby with the female he cheated on me with... Any how, in life we must give everyone the benefit of the doubt until they prove me otherwise, he betrayed our love and trust so what makes me think he is going to change... People only change if they really want but at our age 21 nope he's going to remain the same jerk he is until he's mature enough to realize the wrong he did and it's to late... If he cheated on me with her and we were in a 5 yr relationship what makes her think he ain't gonna do it to her... so once a cheater always a dog

Most likely once a man cheats he will do it again. Usually they dont quit. Its all about the chase the new and a challenge and they thrive on it. Every now and then someone will catch there hearts and they can restrain themselves but only after breaking many hearts along the way.

Good question chris!

I think that is the case the majority of the time. But people can change. When people are ho-ish it's usually because they are immature or lacking something emotionally that they are yearning for. I have seen very ho-ish men end up finding a girl that has that special "something" in them that makes him feel complete and he totally gave up his ways. Then you have people he date multiple people for bragging rights, but then later mature & have a desire for real love & stabilty and totally stop that behavior.

So it depends on the individual and how they deal with their feelings.

I think it depends on why the person cheated. If they had a fickle heart to begin with then they will use any excuse to cheat. If they cheated because of other circumstances - emotional/sexual needs not being met, it is possible that if the person gets with someone who matches their chemistry, there would be no reason to cheat.

Of course, my cheating husband told me he cheated on his burlisque girlrien, when he met his first wife who was six years older than him because he needed a mother at the time

I was told by his best friend only two weeks ago, he used me to get away from his ex wife who was sixteen yrs older and have left two children which I felt he shouldn't of i had cked his clothes and tried to send him back even just for his children. He was stubborn and stayed with me and our children but treated my children like dogs and they now hate him tthey said if he was on fire they would just keep walking.
My thirteen yr old daughter is cutting her arm , death by a thousand cuts because of him, this man is destroying us an I am so buried under grief I can bearly live in my own skin. I know its my fault, I just cant get away from these feelings i have never lied to him about anything, that man has caused me to miscarry our baby by kicking me in the stomach i was three months pregnant i miss carried in my home toilet, he has beaten, manuipulated us he has destroyed my sons life and left us in a house with no roof, to go and set up home in belgium with this african who he met in the belgium toilets where she works.
I said , well why the hell cant you make a donation like most decent people, but no he felt so sorry for her he had to **** her in the toilets where she work call her at proximus in belgium ask for keith thompson her pimp.

no this is an old wives tale..the people who say this are not very forgiving and have no compassion...we are all entitled to a few Fax pas...Mae cuppa? in life..no body is perfect..but a lifetime of cheating is not to be tolerated...but a good man or woman is allowed a few mistakes..forgive and forget..to err is human..to forgive divine?
