This will be no problem. I'll tell you how to rid your computer of this spyware and anything else you might not know is on your computer.
Here's what you need to do.
1st, don't waste your time with AVG, spybot, ad aware, CA, spyhunter, superantispyware, avast, panda, kaspersky, windows defender or anything of the sort. Stay away from anything that is FREE when it comes to spyware and antivirus. There is a reason why they free. They are NOT good.
2nd, You need some of the best software out there. Norton Systemworks is very good. That's the only good software from Norton. I wouldn't recommend Norton Internet security, its not that great. Now the best software you should get is Spysweeper with Anti-virus, this software is too good and gets better everyday. This is elite software. It blocks over 174,500 threats. No other software can compete with that or come close for that matter. It catches everything. I've used them all and it is 2nd to none.
3rd, after you install and update the software, since its in your system you will have to turn off system restore and then go into safe mode and run the scan and eliminate the virus. then after removal, reboot and turn system restore back on.
4th, (Optional) I recommend a Firewall from Zone Alarm, their free version is so good. Or you can buy their Pro version, but the free version will do more than the job.
5th, any probs during or after you do all this, send me an e-mail.

As others have indicated it does sound like you have the Smitfraud virus. However I can't be certain without actually looking at your computer.
OK, there are several things you need to do:
1) turn **off** System Restore. You do this by going to Accessories..System Tools..System Restore. Turn this off--it's most often not needed and is a place where viruses hide.
2) go to www.grisoft.com and download their AVG anti-virus package. After installation, make sure you have it updated with the most current definitions.
3) I assume you're running Windows XP. Turn off your computer and re-start it in safe mode (which you do by repeatedly pressing either F5 or F8 just after you turn the power back on--you'll get a menu asking you how you want to start up). Once you've booted into safe mode, run the AVG software. This is a *very* aggressive software package and can remove just about anything.
4) Reboot your computer normally. If you're still having problems, continue with the following:
5) Go to
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/progr...
and download HiJackThis. Run the program, which will create a log file. Go to
http://forums.spywareinfo.com/
and post your HiJackThis log. You will get an extremely rapid, very precise answer as to whether or not you still have any infections and, if so, exactly what to do.
6) After everything is all cleaned up I recommend installing SpyBot (it's free; just make sure to keep it updated):
http://www.safer-networking.org/
and SpywareTerminator (also free):
http://www.spywareterminator.com/
Good luck!

The hosts file can be your friend!
it is located on your hard drive at this location:
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC\HOSTS
A great site to get an updated Hosts file and instructions on its use can be found at
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/
Basically, what it does is redirects the website in question, in this case drivercleaner.com to a specified address.
In your hosts file put
127.0.0.1 drivecleaner.com
The 127.0.0.1 is your machine. Every time that address is attempted it will try to find it on your machine. Not there, you will get a 404 page not found warning.
Problem solved... or is it...
You most likely have some spyware infecting your machine as well.
I personally use adaware, a free software that will scour your machine and delete any spyware it finds. You may need to run several passes before it cleans everything.
Check out
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware
and download their free home version.
Update your hosts file and install adaware and you'll stop those nasty buggers from bothering you again. On a side note, you should notice quite an improvement in system speed without junk clogging your system.

Most of those are phony warnings from people who want to scare you into buying their anti virus program. Some are actual spy ware that originate from the site itself (with the same goal).
If you don't have an anti virus program you should buy one to protect you against all of the viruses out there. There are currently a lot of full rebates advertised for McAffee and Norton in stores like Staples and CompUSA. Don't rely on the downloaded ones. They don't have a revenue stream coming in that would let them keep updating their programs as new iruses come out.

hello dint worry! do you have spyware and anti virsus programs?
If so restart your pc and when its starting up keep pressing f8 or f5 this will bring up the safe mode screen go onto a account then run full scans this should get rid of the problem.
A comman market trick is to say you have spyware and that your pc has errors and that your infected, when its usualy just a way of scaring you into buying that product!
hope this helps!

Relax, they are hoaxes. Advertisements designed to alarm you into trying their software.
That said, if you don't have antivirus software, you should *buy* (not get some free rubbish like avg or avast) antivirus software from your local computer store as soon as possible.
