I mean, why is it that when you are young, people tell you '"be whoever you want to be" or "you can do whatever you put your mind to." Yet, whenever you get older and tell people your big extravegant dreams, they just make fun of you, and act as if it would be a complete miracle for you to actually be someone someday.

no one can keep you down except you. If you have dreams then they are possible to attain if you take consistent action toward accomplishing them. don't worry about what others think is possible. the world is filled with people who did things that were "impossible" to others.

Some don't, but usually they do. Because they are human and human can be selfish, jealous, simply unhappy with themselves...Everything here for reason, nothing comes to you easily. In some way it helps you to stand for your dreams, find out who you are and show it in spite of anything and anybody.
All you need is - YOURSELF who believes that you WILL BE someone someday.
Never let someones doubts stop you! Just go, go, go to your goal and you will be awarded.

Don't pay attention to them-just go on with your dreams, as young people MAKE the future happen. If we want this war to end, and peace tpo happen, and pollution to cease, someone young will have to come up with the plans to fix all this!! More power to you!!

your so right but i deal with that by keeping things to myself so people wont envy you and won't bring me down thats why stay away from people that make you feel bad and burst your bubble if you think you can do something thats all that matters!!! good luck.

I feel like that sometimes..some people just do that because they dont have enough faith to fulfill there own dreams and feel that You shouldn't fulfill your dreams either
