My wife & I spent quite a while in the area in 2003 and enjoyed a campground in Sisters. It was called Mountain View, but I understand the name has changed. It's not too hard to find since Sisters is quite small. It's located on US 20 right after you leave town. Farther out US 20 is an area called Black Butte, we couldn't get up there due to the fires. I understand it's a great camping area.

Just out of Bend, on US 20 is the Tumalo State Park. I haven't stayed there, but was told it's nice.

South of Bend, on US 97, is the Cascade Meadows RV Resort.

If you'll drive South on US 97, turn West on Highway 138 to 232, then South to Crater Lake National Park, you will find the best campground, no facilities, in all of Oregon. My wife & I spent the better part of a week here and can't wait to return.

Sorry, not too much in Bend, we enjoy being away from too many people
