in my opinion, i think a lot of it is from pier pressure.
some people wont feel like they'll be "accepted" if they havnt gone all the way or they arent as experienced.
plus, the might think they'll get a boyfriend/girlfriend because of the experience. but really, it makes you look like a whore.
im saving myself...i dont know how this can be changed because you cant really change pier pressure and how dumb people can be these days.

Young people can't wait to grow up and experience everything. They are impatient and want what they want, when they want it. If they only realized how important their first time was, they would reconsider. It is something you can never get back. I don't want to be a hypocrite, but you learn from your mistakes, I didn't wait and if I could do it over, I sure would. I let my husband talk me into it while we were dating. I said no over and over and one time I gave in and I got pregnant. We got divorced about 5 years later after being separated for two of them. But I grew up, I was only 18 then. I realize now how wrong it was, I was so naive, didn't know much about sex even at my age and I was pressured into it. I am a lot older now, remarried, happy and kids are grown. I raised two alone and they are fantastic. I am married now almost 2 years and he is the one I wish i would of met years ago. I'm 51 years young. I'm not sure how to get kids to realize how important saving their virginity is. Everywhere you look it's sexual content. Tv, magazines, it's everywhere. They make it look so fun, not how it could change your whole life. Parents need to take a more active role in their kids lives, teach them what is right and wrong. More fathers need to be active in their kids lives even if divorced. Morals aren't taught to kids anymore, nor are family values. Peer pressure is hard for kids in school. It is so many things, it is hard to say what can help. I'm glad mine are grown, this world is getting so bad with sex, drugs and crime. Good Luck to all you parents of young kids.

because they think it is a fun thing to do and that they are really in love with that person,, when in fact it is lust
i don't like it because these children are having children and doesn't need them they need to frow up and become mature
i have been there when i was 13 i thought wow it is cool and was supposedly in then andnow i regret i ever did because you have to be honest with who your with and tell them how many you have had in the past
most men do not like the women to have slept with alot of men

Because you need to experience new emotions, sow your oats, this way in ten years you don't regret not having experienced other women its not easy to have one partner your whole life.

you are suppose to NOT have sex till marriage to save yourself for your true love... you arent suppose to change it... wait till marriage
