Uh....But if you did away with lame duck presidents, then that means we would have to elect a President until he dies...
I think they call that Emperor, King, Czar, Ceaser, Dictator, Premier ect.
Didn't George Washington himself decline that, so there would be no King...
Sorry, just a thought, go by the Constitution...But, that's just me.........
