Good question! Point to you!
I feel that nobody really approved of Vietnam from the start. But many people after 911 did want to go after those terorists and thought the war was a good thing. Yet, now...it is a failure and a disgrace!

By it's very definition a legacy cannot be ascertained until the president has left his office. To ask such a question simply implies a great deal of immaturity. Neither former President Nixon, nor President Bush were ever convicted of any crimes.
Although there was this one guy a couple of years ago who actually got impeached and went before a federal grand jury. He was charged with, and found guilty of suborning perjury (lying under oath). I think that could be the worst legacy of the past fifty years.

I've considered the question at some length and I can only conclude that Bush is easily the worst individual ever to hold the office, and he really had to go some to beat fools like Nixon and Reagan.
It is sad to think that the tiller of the Ship of State is in the hands of Mr. Magoo.

Much worse, yes. We still have a major problem with global terrorism on which there has been NO significant progress made. Economically we are not nearly as healthy as the GOP would have us believe and the country is as divided as it's been since the Civil War.

Mr. Bush is the WORST president in our long history.
He is worse than Nixon, Reagan, Buchanan, Coolidge and the rest of the muckrakers.

some issues he did nicely, some no longer so nicely. i in my opinion dont think of the genuine degree of what he did or diddnt do would be recognised for destiny years. yet i'm going to declare, Obama does look alot extra somber considering his protection briefings, and that i stand in the back of the certainty that the amercian public judges in line with what they comprehend yet dont think of that they dont comprehend each and every of the suggestions earlier leaping to conclusions

Care to share your opinions? Or is this just another in the long line of tired questions with no thought, suggestions, or fact offered?
I'll wait for the movie.....
We can call it "I beat you by the largest margin in history 3,000,000 votes, even with the dead guys voting in Illinois"
Staring- George Bush- as the Overwhelming winner.
John Kerry-The whiny loser "But I voted for it, Before I voted against it" Hey where can I get some more Ketchup.
And Jerry Mathers as The Beaver.

Yes because in spite of his impeachable flaws Nixon did a lot that was good for our country.

Yes, it is much worse. Nixon lied and he had to resign or be prosecuted.
Bush just keeps the lies coming and for some reason no one is even thinking about impeaching him... Why?
He has no legacy... it will be just blank pages in the history books for the years he was president. I hope!
