What I mean is, would you pick your friend over your family to side with or whatever, and why?

I would rather have a friend disown me. I can always make new friends. You can't get a new family.

You will have a million friends over the course of your lifetime, but you only get one family in all your life! Better choose your family for sure!

In theory i'd say my friends could disown me anyday.
In practice, i've found that with out my friends, I'd go insane, but I can live with out my family.

It depends on which friend... Though in all honesty if my family could not love and accept me for who I am without disowning me, I'd rather have my friend that likes me for me.

At this point it would be my family disowning me. And that is only because my sisters are both pains in my as* and won't help me to take care of my dad who is living with me and dealing with terminal cancer. Their hair and nail appt's are much more important than me going to work or taking care of myself

I would pick my friend, because friends will come and go but your family will always be there no matter what happens to you.

Friends because it's wouldn't hurt so much plus you can also get new friends, but never a new family!
