2day i went 2 go get my check up 4 my scoliosis and they told me i have a 22degree curve and that im not going to need no treatment or nothing.. wat do yall ppl think???

There are 4 ways of correcting scoliosis. Three of those ways are only done by medical doctors, while one of those ways are done by only a few select chiropractors. A 22 degree curvature is not really severe, however treatment for it would be based upon your age, sex, health condition and you your curvature is at in the spine. The 3 treatments available by a MD is no treatment at all, a brace, or surgery. The chiropractor treatment is a traction bed or decompression table. My advise would be don't get an opinion from any doctor whether it be MD or chiropractor, unless they are specially trained in scoliosis for life. I would find an actual spinal MD that is well skilled in scoliosis, along with a good chiropractor that bases treatment based upon whats wrong with you & will refer you to a specialist when needed, who does traction/decompression table, take those two options and than decide whats the best course of action to take.
