My YA! account is 7 months old and I'm still on level 2. I see some of you who's accounts are 1 or 2 months old, and you're up to level 5 or higher. Tell me, how long do you spend on YA! a night?

Life in Oz is good. It's a bit cold (getting closer to winter), but the sun is still out. Best time is usually in February (between summer and Autumn), just before Uni starts (or college if you're in the states).

you are in the 9% "best answer" group (I'm only 11%).
The key is to answer a LOT of questions...and try to make the answers poignant, meaningful and perhaps with some nugget of wisdom the questioner (and other readers) can take home with them.
That way, you'll most likely end up with a higher percentage of 10-point "best answer" points.
Also, stop ASKING so many questions at this time.
Remember, you LOSE points when you post, until you get to certain levels, then you can ask more questions for free.
Finally, how's life in OZ?
I've family in Sydney, but I've never been!

LOL I've never really thought about it. Though I do know quite a few people on here that have more than an account. They go back and fourth and ask and reply to their own questions giving their other accounts the best answer all the time.

I've been here just under a year and I'm on level 6. I spend about 5 hours a week on my computer

Some of us have no life or just entirely too much free time on our hands...even at work or school. I'm guilty of spending a few hours a day when I should be working on here answering questions.....

My answers are usually pretty random or stupid.....but people find them funny i think.....so I guess that's why I am at such a high level.......Wait a sec, I"M AT FREAKING LEVEL 2 AS WELL. Jo, If ya find an answer, Let know me too.

I'm a night worker, so I play with this addiction at very odd hours. I'm only at a level 3 but I'm working at it...how about a few thumbs up?

You shouldn't feel bad about that. It's actually a good thing. Eh post a lot and getting favorite answers are how people can climb up fast.

Try and get 'best answers' that's the secret.
Also don't ask a lot of questions, you lose too many points.

Answer the maximum amount of question, vote for the maximum amount questions that are in voting, and get lots of best answers.
