Just curious. I know one person that comes here frequently who has a lesbian family member.

I am strait but I answer questions here for the same reason I answer questions in the married and divorced section. My opinion is love is love (the world needs all it can get - no matter what form it is in) and if my advice can help someone I will give it to them...

I am straight, and happily married , and I like to come here because I like to help and give my support to the gay community. I had a little affair, when I was young, with another boy, and we did not go all the way, but I liked it. SO, what? I had a friend in CA. that was a great person, he was a Vietnam vet, but he was gay, and unfortunately died from Aids. What a nice person he was, To me, people are people, and the people here are fun, and down to earth ,and when I can help, I do. I can relate to the cross dressers, transsexuals,transvestites, as I have this side of me that is like that too. I also read your story,and that blew me away, because of how horrible you were treated, all because you were not comfortable with being a girl, and are happy being a man. Unbelievable story, and thank-you for sharing that.

That's just one of the reasons and a coincidence. I come in here because there are far fewer differences between myself and an LGBT neighbor than say a Muslim terrorist. The bedroom aint the only room in the house!

I'm here to read, and answer. I have been through some negative stuff regarding transexuals, and am looking for others who have had similar experiences, and am also seeking ways to understand what happened.

Yes, my nephew came out recently to me and only me. I am of course loving him unconditionally but worry what his right wing religious step dad would do to him if he finds out.
