Here's the main page for the Bluetooth interface
there are links on the left, one of which is a list of recommended phones:
In USA: http://www.bmwusa.com/owners/bluetooth/default
Other Countries: http://www.bmw.com/com/en/index_highend.html

you have to read the manual of the car but also the phone.

First of all, you have to enable bluetooth on your phone. Then, you search for devices and it will find it.

hmm... well, i guess you better sell it then. if it wont interact with your cell phone whats the reason to even own a car.

its funny, someone just asked a question about how you can group BMW drivers... this fits the stereotype like a glove.
