They climate will doubtfully change to where we can not live, more like beach weather if anything. A lot of people don't realize this but the earth has went through many stages of green house earth (hot, dry conditions) to Ice house earth (ice ages), and there were no humans at that time so saying that we are creating this is really not completly true, we may be speeding it up, but not to the point of human extinction. There have been over 5 mass extinctions before humans evolved so take that into consideration when thinking about global warming. "Global warming" which is just a normal occurence will lead to an increase in global temperatures which can in turn cause other changes, including sea level rise, and changes in the amount and pattern of precipitation. There may also be changes in the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events, though it is difficult to connect specific events to global warming. Other effects may include changes in agricultural yields, glacier retreat, reduced summer streamflows, species extinctions and increases in the ranges of disease vectors.***

Rimi, people go through this every couple of generations. For one reason or another the Earth will become inhospitable to life. Through the actions of man, either god, war, or climate change is going to so thoroughly sterilize the planet, the bodies of the dead will not decay.

The Earth is warming, it has always gone through temperature swings. But when you figure asteroids have blown holes in this planet big enough to be seen from the moon, and we are still here. Then there is no danger of or species becoming extinct.

The human race has survived climate fluctuations without today's technologies. We'll do fine.
