I don't have very long legs but I love the way pencil skirts look. Any suggestions for making them work for me?

I'm about 5'4"/5'5" and I wear pencil skirts all the time, I love them! You can easily wear them. Best solution I could suggest, nothing lower then the knee. Knee length or 1/2 above the knee. To make your legs even longer a great pair of heels will help greatly. Nothing with an ankle strap, and nothing lower then 2.5". Make sure to pair it with a great top, likea button down or a super cute fitted cardigan over a camisole. Hope this helps, and rock those pencil skirts!

Right below the knee is one trick, another is heels that are more pointed in the front, (will elongate your legs), and with a slimmer heal, which will do the same to your calfs. Skip the stripes and prints, and just go with a dark, slimming color. There are also pencil skirts with a small slit at the side which shows a glimpse of thigh, (but not the whole thing), which will give the illusion of slimmer legs.

Of course you can wear pencil skirts. To make them longer, just wear high heels. or you can get your skirts tailored so they are just a little bit shorter so you can get the illusion of "longer legs" hope it helped!!

I am sooo short and I seem to pull them off... I am only 5'3". If you have the body shape, I think that's more important. Also, when I wear them, I try and wear a nice, tall pair of shoes. They seem to look weird on me if I wear flats. I prefer wedges and espadrilles during the summer... but for winter or for a more professional look, you can get a basic black or blue heel. Good luck! Have them hit just below the knee so you look like you have longer legs. Don't go for the longer length. Nice heels with out a strap across the instep/ankle. (that shortens the leg)

dont wear any pencil skirts that hit any lower than your knees. then top it off with some cute pumps!

I like girls in jeans. It creates them look more home town like and it generally does not appear to be they are trying too hard but if you are trying to get this fellas attention, this may well not be what you want

k my luv u have to have it in proportion with yur body try on as many as yu can im sure it will look gr8 alot of people loook really nice in them
