When is a bill considered paid? When it is written and sent or when the payee posts it?

I am afraid to tell you when the payment post the bill account. It also doesn't help to pre-date a check, like you sent it a couple days earlier. Sorry it is paid when it post on the account!!!

I would go with POSTS IT. It is not money until it is useful to the person who is owed the money.
