How many countries do they need as examples of a failed Ideology?

It's funny to hear socialists rail against capitalism when they're obviously not starving to death. Million have in communist countries JUST from the inevitable collapse of their economies, nevermind the government abuses. Zimbabwe would be the latest example under Mogabe the Marxist.

Liberals don't care about examples of failed socialism - they would just blame each failure on the person in charge and not on the ideology anyway.

You are slightly under-informed.

Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, & Finland are all examples of successful socialist countries ("welfare" states) that have been using their models for the past 50+ years. Some of them have higher standards of living than the US.

Even Cuba can be considered "successful", since it is still surviving after 50+ years of US trade sanctions, as well as losing its primary trading partner (USSR) in the early 1990s. It is also the only country in the world to have undergone & survived peak oil, entering a "Special Period" where oil imports dropped to between 50-90%, and the country experienced starvation. Today, it has managed to climb its way back up, and has the 3rd highest standard of living in Latin America, with life expectancies equal to the US.

Because it really is a very successful ideology. Socialism is one the best forms of government created to keep a very small percent of the population in power and wealth on the backs of the vast majority of the citizens.

Um dude, you need to stop watching Fox news.. Socialism works in a lot of countries... However most of them have a population much smaller than the US but it works. Good effort, but read more and study abroad. good luck...

It will continue to fail until people begin to understand control theory. There must be a negative feedback loop for stable control --- liberalism/socialism has none.

this question is just more evidence that cons have become out and out radicals.

they must resort to radicalism because they simply have nothing else.

whenever someone wants to frighten you in order to get your vote, just remember that they are a radical...
