I dont see why not. I am a Tiger fan and i have to agree, I see a lot of similarities between the two teams. The key is the pitching, the Tigers pitchers put it together last year and carried the squad through the playoffs. As long as the Brewers can resist the trade offers that are surely being sent their way trying to get Turnbow they will have the backend ability to close out games. The Tiger success was largely due to the fact the pen could shut teams down from the 7th through the 9th and the Brewers have the same type pen. Fielder could be the key....his bat is the most important and it sure looks like he has taken it to the next level, now he has to sustain that level (I think he can). Good luck Brewer fans...this could be your magical season!

the 1st mistake became into that all people, such via fact the Tigers' front place of work, horribly over priced Dontrelle Willis. he's a glass who had one good season, and whose peripherals have declined in view that then. i'm uncertain why all people would have theory that a guy coming off a 5+ era season in the national League might have fulfillment in a league with the precise hitter. The Tigers could be embarrassed approximately projecting him as a useful area of the rotation. The offense has been good (suited 3 in scoring in the AL), besides the undeniable fact that that's by no ability Murderers Row. Tigers followers fell in love with Granderson according to one 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, so as that they are shocked to work out him fall off. Age has additionally been a element, with Sheffield finding previous and a lot of of the others you pronounced dealing with their very own struggles. The commencing rotation, even with the incontrovertible fact that, is the main considerable wrongdoer, with the bullpen additionally contributing. Verlander has been especially undesirable, and there is extremely no person on their finished workforce who strikes concern into hitters. that's a mix of underperforming and unrealistic expectancies. i'm uncertain why Tigers followers theory the international sequence became into theirs to lose in the 1st place, besides the undeniable fact that that's needless to say been a rude awakening.

I guess that is a good way to put it, although I think last year's Tigers were much more of a surprise than this year's Brewers. The Tigers seemingly came out of nowhere last year; I thought a couple years ago that the Brewers had a lot of young talent and were up-and-coming.

I think they have a very solid team that could do some damage in the playoffs if they can keep it up and avoid injuries. Which has been their problem the past couple of years. They're dang good team. Fun to watch.

They look pretty good. If they are still on top after the all star break then I would give them serious consideration. Right now it's just a little to early in the season.

Absolutely, except their season will not be a fluke as Detroit's was last year. The Brewers have a team that will be a winner for several years to come.
