I know the signals reach the television via the antenna, but how do they travel to our televisions?

TV signals are electromagnetic waves and can travel through air, buildings etc. and also through space (vacuum). The TV signal is a composite signal, the video being amplitude modulated and the audio being frequency modulated of a very high frequency base signal. That signal is emitted by a large antenna (a TV tower) which is on land or in the space (satellite). The signal of course, originates in the TV studio. I hope things are a little clearer now.

Take Note that not all TV cables are metal wire inside surrounded by a sheathing wire mesh encased in an insulator.
Some are using Fiber Optic cables - I believe these are a very very polished glass tube which light travles through - or pulses of light.

Its another pandora's box. Its magic. theres an inscription that decodes the pattern of via Electro Magentic Radio waves. Radio get it? Well, think of it as cell phones, each radio waves of cel phones, have a decoding device that decodes the wavelengths, frequncies of the waves in cell phones, and eventualy hiting the nearest cell phone tower. The radius of the cell phone tower bounces the cell phone message and hits it to the nearest corrsponding pattern device. Just like the tv.

Depends is cables attached to yours if they are thats how through the cables but if they don't which a lot of people don't they are close the tv they send convert those waves and send them to the tv thats why if you take the antena away it loses its focus.

Usually it's through the cable... which is metal inside the plastic... which conducts electricity... which is what signals and what not go through
