I mourn for the XFL. Had seaon tickets for the Las Vegas Outlaws. The NFL will never put a team in Vegas because of betting on football ,even though anyone can sit in a stadium these days and bet through cells phones to offshore casinos. The NFL laughed at the birdseye view cameras situated on lines over the field but now they brag about them during Sat and Sun night games. Instead of the coin flip the race/fight for the football was electric in the stadium. Of course the best football players weren't playing it was only the first and only year but the players would fight for the win. In case you forgot the winners of each game got more money than the losers. XFL if you look back got better ratings than baseball and basketball but they wanted the XFL to pull in prime time ratings which was ridiculious. I still wear my Outlaw gear. HE HATE ME, in Vegas WE MISS YOU

yes it was an exciting game it was fun to watch b/c the nfl season would end then the xfl would start it was good for the die hard football fans and now i have to watch the arena football league

I'm mourning the fact that they even existed. That league was a disgrace to the integrity of football.

did no one else realize that it wasn't going to go anywhere. nothing will ever touch the nfl, period. no matter how exciting or how exotic the rules get, plain old, hard hitting football will win every time.

You'd be surprised how many people around my parts adored that stupid league. I'm glad its gone and hope it never comes back.
