If so, how long have they been married and how close are you to them? I am 35 and still have both of my parents and they have been married for over 42 years. I know how fortunate I am so I was wondering how many others out there have the same fortune as I do.

My Parents will celebrate their 50th this year in October.
I've been married 23 years and will celebrate my Silver in two-years.
So there you have it.
My wife and I are inseparable which means if one of us should die the other will follow soon.
I can't live without her. We have been thru so much together good and bad that we have bonded permenately.
I love her very much.

Mine are still married, 41 years. I am also fortunate, I get along great with them outside the normal parent/child disagreements or getting on each others nerves once in a while.

My parents were married in 1951 and my Dad passed away in 2005 so they were married a total of 54 years. I was 42 when he passed away.

My parents were married 63 years before my father passed away. My in laws were married 61 years. My husband & I have been married 40 years.

Still married, it will be 36 years this June. I am very close with both of them, and I am grateful to have such good role models to use for my own marriage. I have never heard my parents yell at each other, call each other names, or curse each other out. They might sometimes get snippy with the other one, but after 36 years, who wouldn't?

I am 32. My Mom and Dad have been married for 32 years (since they were 16 and 17-I was an uh-oh baby). They are still together.

I was very close to them and always loved and
respected them even though they have passed
away. They were married to each other for 55
lovely years and that is something that I want to
emulate with my wife as we have been married
over 20 years and even though 55yrs is still a long
way to go God and us willing , we will make it.

Nope. They divorced when i was 6. It turned out better that way because they were completely the opposite and never got along. Im more closer to my stepdad than my real dad and im glad my parents got divorced they were not a good match at all.
