Should Al Sharpton be removed from his job just as he lobbied for the removal of Imus for equally bigoted statements? Or is there a double-standard? Is racial bigotry worse than religious bigotry?

"As for the one Mormon running for office, those who really believe in God will defeat him anyways, so don't worry about that; that's a temporary situation," Sharpton said during a debate with Hitchens at the New York Public Library.

Which job do you want him fired from?

Sharpton is an odd choice to represent christians, but what he said reflects the attitude of all evangelical Christians that Mormons are not Christians in any sense apart from calling themselves that.

There are differences between Catholics and Protestants, but they still believe in the trinity and the divinity of Jesus. Mormons believe god was once a man, had a lot of kids to make his own universe, and that we can do the same thing.

That's closer to Amway than Christianity. If you think you can sell Romney to the religious right, I'll get some popcorn to watch the fireworks that happen.

If he really had a job he should lose it. He is a human sukerfish swimming around looking for any possible mess to get him a bit of food. He has made a career out of flashing a light on any hint of a "racist move" against the people he claims to represent. His reference to Heimi Town, using the "N" word to describe the black mayor of NY, tewana brawley, Duke, are all examples of years of his hit and run diplomacy. He is never around when it is time to clean up, apologize or answer the really tough questions.
The difficulty is who do you pressure to lose that dead weight. He has no real boss, no real backing and no real moral outrage. He has no desire to do the right thing. ONLY thing is AL SHARPTON and the next opportunity.

Why do you care, while you're to close to sighted to keep in mind the 1st Clinton administration, you will possibly keep in mind they did alot for black human beings. And in case you think of that's "troubling" that somebody cares approximately white working class human beings think of the annyance those white working class human beings experience while they are continuously in basic terms listening to approximately Rev. Jessie Jackson or Al Sharpton communicate against white human beings for the entertainment and money of black human beings. For God's sake if Obama's pastor were white and Obama white he might have already lost the election bid era. like it or not this would nicely be a double time-honored usa we are residing in. Blacks, females, Animals, the ambience, Homosexuals, Mentally Handicapped, a lot of those classifications have businesses helping them against any so stated as persacution different than white working class human beings. nicely the wealthy white human beings have the Republican occasion, yet not the working class.

What Imus said was not racist but offensive to the women's basketball team. If the phrase uttered by Imus was racist it wouldn't have been repeated in the media over and over.

The only reason Imus was fired is because his sponsors who are worth millions to the network demanded that he be fired. That's it. It had nothing to do with Sharpton.

Money or the lack of money can be a great motivator.

These people exploit the proletariat for their own monetary and power egos. Actually the political arena appreciates these diversions for obvious reasons. Al Sharpton doesn't have a "job".
