Truth is even if you fall asleep "connected" the likelihood that you will remain that way during sleep is minimal. As the erection subsides he will slip free. And one or both will wake up in the wet spot. If you use a condom as contraceptive this could well lead to an unwanted pregnancy and is not recommended then.
Otherwise no harm done, the woman's body tolerates sperm well.

This is a really great question. I wish I knew the answer to it, but I don't, not for sure. I've read about it happening in romance novels and seen it in a few movies. I've always thought it sounded sweet and romantic, but never had anyone want to try it with me.
I've heard of a couple of women doing something similar
with hard plastic (wink), and they say that is tremendous...
but, again, I don't know if it is really safe or not.
I can't imagine why Yahoo would delte a perfectly good question...I starred you cause I'm anxious to find out myself, now.
Thanks for posting.

My ex wife and I used to do that a lot and it wasn't harmful
to our health, that I know of. In fact, it's beyond great....
especially when an orgasm occurs during sleep. That
happened a few times....it's indescribable. A whole new
demension to intercourse. Go for it.
Yahoo is pretty stupid for deleting the question, earlier.
It's very tastefully done and on a useful topic. I bet many people want to know but just didn't ask.

Well, they have got paid the taxes, and in a few instances they paid the consequences. And the errors (or calculated chance, or lack of know-how) would have price Timothy Geitner his submit, and nonetheless would price Tom Daschel his risk to be at the cupboard. Isn't that a penalty? Honestly, I do not consider those problems will impact how good those guys would serve at the Cabinet.

Yes Yahoo does tend to delete perfectly unoffensive questions sometimes, its annoying.
You can leave a tampon in for up to 8 hours, so unless you sleep longer than that (lucky you!!!) it is fine to use them overnight.
TSS is bacterial infection, usually associated with leaving something absorbent (tampon, contraceptive sponge in your vagina for too long. I really dont see how this could occur with a penis!
Anyhow, I doubt that you would remain joined for that long, as the penis will shink, and the two of you are likely to move slightly resulting in separation.
I wouldnt worry about it!

I am sorry, I don't know. I have been wondering and worrying about this , too. My OB wouldn't answer it, either. I just avoid doing it because it worries me so.
Shame on Yahoo for deleteing this question before.
It's a very valid one and tastefully worded, too.
Thanks for posting.

Toxic Shock Syndrome is because of chemicals and etcetera getting into your blood stream, i do not believe there would be a problem, unless
a) he has a condom on
b) spermicide
personally I say just don't be lazy and pull out after.

TSS is caused from a bacteria. It's possible that staying connected after falling asleep could cause TSS, but it's probably just as likely that you could get it from using a diaphram or contraceptive sponge.

Yes, it's safe but it would be uncomfortable after a while. Don't know why your question was removed since, you're right,l there have been more offensive questions posted here.

Well I wouldn't sleep w/ a d*** still inside me but I do w/ tampons and I've never had any problems. Also, about falling asleep right after sex, that's not good anyway. You should always pee after having sex. That's a big reason why people get bladder infections.
