I want to put my trailer on craigslist and i need to know were to measure it from the hitch or just the body of the trailer?? can ya guys help me please thank you

I work with trailers in my business all the time. People want to know the body length and width of the trailer, not including the tongue. Good luck.

Measure the body of the trailer not the over all length. Good luck on selling your trailer.

Well, if the buyer is concerned about volume, it's about the trailer size, not the tongue. Still, the overall length can be important, so list both. Trailer dimensions and overall towing length.
