18 - 3x > 75
subtract both sides by 18 =>
-3x > 57

divide both sides by -3 and switch sign

x < -19

I'm pretty sure you can solve an inequality like this the same way you solve any equation. Just make sure that you do the same thing to both sides.

18-3x > 75
-3x > 57 (subtract 18 from both sides)
x < -19 (divide both sides by -3)

When you divide both sides of an inequality you have to flip the symbol, so that greater than because less than. So the solution is x < -19.

x < - 57/3
x < - 19
