Well I have seen worse series than the Simpsons. I hope they're saving all the good stuff for the movie too, but my guess is as good as yours as to what will be on there.

Let's see was the episode you have in mind the story that went Maggie's pacifer to Homer's sleep walking to fire crew?
Then yes this is one of the worst episodes. Simpsons seriously have done everything. The story lines also never end completely resolved. I have been quite disappointed with the show, especially since I used to stop everything on Sunday's to watch.
Let's all hope the Simpsons movie is great not only for our sakes but for the show's as well.

I think these new ones are awful. I noticed Family Guy's comedy has gotten worse this season too, but anyway, Simpsons sucked in 2004 and haven't stopped since then. I'm sure they would put funny stuff in the movie, because if not, no matter what, there will always be some dope who thinks the unfunny is funny. People are different and weird as well, lol :P

I dunno, my friend told me that they have new writers now maybe that's the problem. I heard Conan O'Brien used to write for "The Simpsons" and now he's not doing that anymore, maybe that's why. I like the older episodes better those are more original.
